Can't Get ICake to install

What am I doing wrong?  I downloaded the PTVnet CD; the LBA48 CD; the Icake CD. & the Tools CD for a Philips DSR704. I bought a new Seagate 160GB HD and installed it in my computer. I burned the CD’s (the PTVnet & LBA48 as bootable) using Nero Express 6. I could find no options to choose between “Joliet or ISO9660 modes” so I don’t know which spec was used. I then configured my computer for CDRom as primary slave and the new disk as primary master. I disconnected all other drives. I put in the LBA48 CD and booted. It loaded and stopped at  an A:\  prompt.  However it did not recognize the new HD. The CDRom was D:\ but there was no C:\ drive. I the put in the Tools CD which I had include the ICake CD (renamed to 000001) . I type SH ZIPPER.SH and pressed enter and got a command not recognized. I did a ‘dir’ on the CDRom and all the commands where there but none would execute.  I had to initiate partial windows install on the new HD to get the PTV software recognize the new dive as C:\. But still nothing worked. I assumed that the ICake or LBA48 CD’s would format the new HD to the full 160GB capacity and install over the Windows data. I was the same result with the PTVnet CD.  I though I followed all the instruction. So why can’t I get it to work?
