Series 2 Standalone Hard Drive Upgrade

I had a drive fail and bought the latest InstantCake Image for my box.  I used a pretty standard WD 160GB drive with 8MB of ram and an EIDE/ATA interface.

I got the "Partition not Recognized" and the Dreaded "/dev/hdi is not a block device?" warnings.

THe long and the short of it was that along with all the Primary-Slave configuration work, I also  had to search through my BIOS settings and disable SATA support.  Once I did this the image ran like a champ.

I bought the same hard drive

I bought the same hard drive and got the same mount: /dev/hdi is not a block device with the addition of "/etc/rc.d/rd/S: /cdrom/.live/bin/PTVbake: No such file or directory/#"

I have disabled the SATA BIOS settings and still get the same message.

Can someone help?

You have to be seriously anal

You have to be seriously anal-retentive about the directions they give you. E very detail.
From the drive slave/master setting, to the config of the CD/DVD.

Read through it like a check list. I was going to update my BIOS as a last resort, but didn't have to as I finally found the setting in my BIOS that I had been missing.
